Lacroix Turns 10, Celebrates in Style

The city mainstay toasts the milestone with a 10-course dinner from Lacroix veterans, while guests rub elbows with notable Philly chefs.

The 10-year anniversary of a restaurant that has made a huge impact on the dining scene calls for celebration, and Lacroix at the Rittenhouse isn’t disappointing. On Sept. 24, Chef Jon Cichon and pastry chef Fred Ortega are hosting a 10-course collaborative dinner cooked by Lacroix chef alums to celebrate the restaurant’s milestone.

Each course of the 10-course tasting menu will be prepared by a different chef, and each will include a wine pairing. Chefs joining the one-night-only event include Jason Cichonski of Ela, Matthew Levin of Square Peg Restaurant, Brinn Sinnott of Talula’s Garden, Fond chef and owner Lee Styer and many more. Chef Jean-Marie Lacroix will also be at the event as the evening’s honorary chef host. Besides enjoying a very indulgent meal (the menu looks insanely good), the $350 ticket will benefit the Lacroix at the Rittenhouse Scholarship, which is given by the James Beard Foundation and helps a local student pursue his or her dreams of going to culinary school.

The event begins at 6 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres and a toast and is followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Space is limited so call (215) 790-2530 to make your reservation for this unforgettable event.
