Have appetite, will travel. Two culinary experiences of a lifetime await adventurous foodies on the Main Line.

Philadelphia chefs want to take you on a culinary getaway. Several members of the local, esteemed food scene are planning once-in-a-lifetime food journeys and you’re invited to join in for the delicious ride.

From September through November, several Philadelphia chefs will introduce Costa Rica’s culinary scene and their own sharp skill sets as they travel to Arenas Del Mar Beachfront & Rainforest Resort to participate in the second annual Guest Chef series.

With participants like Top Chef’s Jen Carroll, Josh Lawlor (of The Farm and Fisherman), Jason Cichonski (of Ela), and Steve Howells and Chip Roman (of Blackfish), the week-long vacation experiences pack incredible appeal for foodies and aspiring chefs alike.

Chef Michael Solomonov of the insanely-popular Zahav has a trip of his own in the works, leading a group of travelers on a 10-day culinary and cultural tour of Israel, setting off on Sunday, Oct. 6. Chef Solomonov, born near Tel Aviv, will guide food lovers through an incredible itinerary to experience the food, drink and hospitality of Israel as only a natural-born citizen can show it.

Space is limited for the guided culinary journey, available at $6,750 per person (based on double occupancy). For more information, or to reserve your place, please contact Donna Palmieri (215-568-6655 x260, donnap@giltravel.com).
