Isabella's Totally Tomato Menu

From gazpacho to salad, Michael Cappon puts summer’s favorite veggie to work.

There isn’t anything much better than a juicy August tomato, and Chef Michael Cappon of Conshohocken’s Isabella agrees.

During the month of August, Cappon is celebrating the tomato by offering a “Totally Tomato” menu using heirloom and Roma tomatoes from Snyder Farms is Perkasie, Penn. We love the way Cappon is using tomatoes in lots of different ways. He uses roasted tomatoes and veggies to make a fresh heirloom gazpacho and juicy raw ones in the caprese salad with house-made mozzarella, fresh basil and olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
