Fresh Ideas Market Takes Over Yang's Market Space

The name may have changed but the idea is the same: fresh, local and healthy fare for all.

Open just a few short weeks, Fresh Ideas market has taken over the space that once housed Yang’s Market, the produce and small grocery store that has been a staple on the Main Line for 23 years. Yang’s former owner, Yong Yang is still a part of the new market, helping to teach and train Aneu Bistro and Wine Bar’s Meridith Coyle in the produce aspect of running a market, but the new owner has certainly made Fresh Ideas a place of her own.

Fresh Ideas open at 7 a.m. daily, so stop in for a hot cup of coffee or tea on your way to work and grab a homemade croissant, pastry or muffin from Georges Perrier’s Art of Bread in Narberth. Fresh Ideas stocks loads of seasonal, local fruits and vegetables, homemade pastas, local cheeses, fresh flowers and has a huge selection of prepared foods. There’s even a made-to-order sandwich menu. Next time you’re in Berwyn, stop in for a peek or grab something to go.
