We’ve never needed an excuse to drive down Route 1 to Terrain to browse and grab a seasonal bite in the garden café, but you may want to pencil in a few dates if you’re looking for a little something extra special to do.
On Saturday, July 7, Terrain will host its seasonal tasting, hosted by the café’s kitchen expert. She’ll prepare some of her favorite recipes of the season and offer tastes and demonstrations to the public. The event will take place from 12-3 p.m.
On the 19th, the café will host a salad dressing workshop. If you’ve ever had a salad at the café, you know how expertly seasoned and dressed the greens are, a seemingly simple task but not always so once you start combining ingredients. From 6-7 p.m., guests will learn how to combine various oils and vinegars for perfect salads, as well as how to make salad dressing infusions. The cost is $20 per person and includes the workshop and a glass of wine.
