Fair Food’s Annual Brewer’s Plate Returns March 10

Featuring Main Line and Philly restaurants, the annual event draws foodies in with the best food and drink offerings in the area.

Many residents in the greater Philadelphia area have trended toward consuming locally sourced food, but not without thanking Fair Food Philadelphia. As an organization, Fair Food is  “dedicated to bringing locally grown food to the marketplace,” and strives to promote “a humane, sustainable agriculture system” for the Philly area. They celebrate their efforts annually in a big way at The Brewer’s Plate.

Guests might think they are dreaming, but these event offerings are very real. More than 20 top-notch restaurants, a heap of craft breweries, sip-worthy spirits and decadent sweets will tempt those who attend the celebration. Teases from this year’s lineup includes Alla Spina, Birchrun Hills Farm, Dad’s Hat Whiskey, Eclat Chocolate, Forest and Main Brewing, Tired Hand Brewing Co., Victory Brewing Co., and Yellow Springs Farm.

In addition to noshing your way through an abundance of appetizing treats suitable for every food and drink lover, the National Constitution Center event will also include a Small Wonders VIP section where exclusive homespun gourmet goods are available to only a select few. A speakeasy feature, complete with local spirits and tantalizing bites, is set to round out the diverse affair on Sun., March 10. The Ninth Annual Brewer’s Plate will run from 6-9 p.m.
