Now in its fourth year, Opera Evenings at Paoli’s Trattoria San Nicola are back. Beginning Aug. 3, every Wednesday in August features local opera singers performing famous arias—and you get to vote for your favorite! The finale is Aug. 24, when performers compete for a top prize. But what would a night at Trattoria San Nicola be without some authentic Italian food to enjoy? Chef Vito Giannandrea will cook up a six-course family-style meal, inspired by the opera and other famous Italians. Think: Penne Pavarotti and the classic seven-layer Opera Cake.
