People’s Light and Theatre Company in Malvern is not only a place to be entertained, but it’s also a place to enjoy a meal, thanks to the new Farmhouse Bistro opening Sept. 21. The 18th-century farmhouse itself is a charming venue for special events, having received recognition as one of the best for wedding receptions. The 52-seat restaurant will spread across three dining rooms, plus outdoor seating in the gardens that accommodates 50 additional guests. Running the kitchen is executive chef and food-and-beverage director Craig Orlando, along with sous chef Ben Mayhew. Both have trained at distinguished schools like the Culinary Institute of America and Marriott International.
