We all know soda is bad—really bad—for us, even the diet stuff. Water is best, but sometimes you just want a little more flavor with your pizza.
Two Main Line entrepreneurs have the answer. Pete Howey and Aaron Nocks have created New Hope Premium Fountain, a line of sparkling fruit juices that don’t contain any of those bad chemicals found in regular soda. So-called “all natural,” they come in fresh flavors like black cherry, orange mango, lemon lime and green apple. The cups are even biodegradable! I’m interested to see exactly what the ingredients are and how they compare to soda, especially sugar wise.
Howey and Nocks hope to bring their line to natural food stores, school cafeterias and lunchrooms everywhere. But, for now, look for their “Fountain Fizz” this August at Peace A Pizza in Rosemont and Wayne.
