Chef Henry Morgan is celebrating one year at Homeroom, his elevated breakfast and lunch cafe in Gladwyne. The spot is ideal for a quick caffeinated beverage or a more leisurely late-morning meal. I tackled an exceptional salmon toast topped with herbed cream cheese, fresh dill and red onion. The crunchy house-made granola over yogurt is a perfect fit for healthier diets. Creative lunch options include the Za’atar chicken salad sandwich, a chickpea, beet and feta salad and poached tuna. The petite Shoproom has local art and merchandise for purchase.
Homeroom’s chickpea, beet and feta salad is a must when dining out this April.
