The back-to-school days are the perfect time to start revamping the old dinner menu and trying out a few new recipes in the kitchen!
Beginning Aug. 28 and lasting throughout the fall, chef Chad Jajczyk of Ella’s American Bistro in Wayne is hosting a fall cooking demonstration series taking place once per month in the restaurant. While the demonstrations won’t actually have guests cooking in the kitchen, the chef will provide loads of tips and techniques on how to cook the dishes at home, including helpful info on where to stock up on the best ingredients and what to do with all of those leftovers.
The inaugural lesson focuses on salmon, and probably everything you wanted to know about it from farmed versus wild, cooking techniques like sautéing, smoking and searing, and how to make some healthy and simple preparations at home. In addition to the demonstration, guests will dine on a four-course menu pertaining to that night’s lesson. The cooking demonstrations are open to complete novices and experienced cooks looking to add a few new dishes to their repertoire.
The cost is $95 per person and includes dinner, wine pairing, tax and tip. Call (610) 964-3552 to reserve your spot for the 6:30 class!
