Baggataway Tavern is hosting its annual mash-up of the Kentucky Derby and Cinco de Mayo, aka Derby de Mayo. This rain-or-shine event takes place 2-10 p.m. and will feature a margarita bar, mint juleps, Dos Equis (and Dos Equis girls), Corona Light, an authentic taco bar, and live music from the Boatloads. The $5 cover charge will be donated to Cradles to Crayons.

Coyote Crossing’s Giant Ultimate Burrito Challenge is twofold: You are not just accepting a challenge to eat a large, delicious burrito, but you are also helping Beats for Bella raise money and awareness for congenital heart defects. It costs $20 to enter, which will be donated to Beats for Bella.

The Giant Ultimate Burrito, “The Borzilla,” is a little over a foot long and weighs approximately four pounds. It’s filled with chicken, rice, beans, lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream.
