From Aug. 12-17, Chestnut Hill will celebrate its summer restaurant week. During the event, 14 eateries in Philadelphia’s garden district will offer prix fixe dinner menus, most for $35 per person.
Participating restaurants include Banjara Indian Bistro, the Breakfast Boutique, Campbell’s Place, Chestnut Grill & Sidewalk Café, Chestnut Hill Brewing Company, El Poquito, Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant, Jansen Restaurant, McNally’s Tavern, Mica, Paris Bistro & Jazz Café, Tavern on the Hill, Thai Kuu and Valley Green Inn.
Highlights from some of the menus include Mica’s charcoal grilled hanger steak with creamed corn, Jansen’s baked Norwegian salmon with asparagus and truffle salad, and Thai Kuu’s pineapple himmaparn, a spicy stir fry served in a hallowed out half-shell pineapple.
Chestnut Hill will offer free parking Sunday through Friday after 6 p.m. for restaurant week.
