Market at the Fareway is home to a host of food vendors in a modern farmers’ market setting. Visitors can find a variety of local and fresh products and grocery items including coffee, bread, nuts, popcorn, chocolate, flowers, produce, meat, poultry, candy, cheese and sushi. Soon visitors will also be able to grab a pint of locally made beer.

While Chestnut Hill Brewing Company won’t start serving beer until March, they are currently offering six varieties of wood-fired Neapolitan-style pizza made with local and organic ingredients. Current menu items include a traditional margherita pizza; white pie made with EVOO, fresh garlic, fresh mozzarella, parmesan, pecorino romano, oregano, ricotta and fresh parsley; the Sasquatch pizza topped with fresh mozzarella, local roasted butternut squash, red onion, sage and alder smoked salt; and a veggie pie made with organic tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, oregano, organic cremini mushrooms, onions, local kale and an aged balsamic drizzle.

Four beers are scheduled for release in late March, including an IPA and a stout. Beers will be available by the pint or to take home in a 64-ounce growler.

Chestnut Hill Brewing Company is currently open on Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m.–6 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Look for expanded hours once the beer taps open.
