Cheers to Friday

Enjoy a wine pairing or BYO. Two local restaurants are offering the best of both worlds with their exclusive dinners on March 25.

Georges’ in Wayne is bringing back its monthly wine dinner on March 25 and, by the looks of it, the four-course meal (plus dessert) is going to be decadent. Courses range from a roasted beet and Asian pear salad, paired with Nicolas Feuillatte’s Blue Label Brut, to pork tenderloin with farro and dried fruit, complemented by Feuillatte’s fruity Palmes d’Or Brut. 7 p.m. $85. Call (610) 964-8744.

Another great dining event will also take place March 25. Styer’s Garden Café in Glen Mills is hosting a special Chef’s Dinner, which includes four seasonal courses and a light dessert of house-made sorbets. The menu features a local radish salad with sorrel, arugula and ginger vinaigrette; pan-roasted cod with leek medallions, plus asparagus and peas; and a roasted lamb loin. Don’t forget a bottle of wine—the restaurant is BYO. (And pick up some herbs for your home garden while you’re there.) 5:30-9:30 p.m. $45. Call (610) 459-6063.
