The Feast of Seven Fishes is an important tradition for Italians this time of year, but it’s also one delicious custom for all. The feast brings an abundance of sensational seafood, sometimes surpassing the seven categories as the name entails, to one long table filled with friends and family. The tradition can and should be enjoyed by everyone, whether you’re toting an abnormally long table or not! Their authentic menu ranges from fried smelts to fresh baccala, both staples for an Italian meal of this caliber, while offering mouthwatering variety throughout the meal.  The six-course meal is available for just $40 per person, and welcomes diners to bring their beverage of choice, although wine is highly recommended. Avalon Restaurant/Avalon Pasta Bistro

Unfolding for the sixth consecutive Christmas Eve, Avalon’s Feast of the Seven Fishes is crafted with exceptional ingredients as award-winning chef John Brandt-Lee revisits his Italian heritage to deliver the extraordinary experience. This most memorable Italian tradition is celebrated through chef Arthur Cavaliere’s culinary interpretation.
