The end of April is the targeted opening date of Cedar Craft & Kitchen in Glenolden, taking over the former space of Briarcliffe Bar & Grill. The concept comes from owners Paul DiBona, who also owns Pepperoncini in Conshohocken, and Sam Arbitman and Rich Fattori, who own Moonshine in South Philly.

The new casual Italian-centric restaurant and tavern will have a friendly neighborhood feel and an upbeat vibe, with a warm, rustic aesthetic.

DiBona will oversee the development and implementation of the menu. Look for dishes like wings, risotto bites, Caesar salad, shrimp scampi, burgers, roast pork sandwich, meatloaf, crab cakes and chicken piccata.

The restaurant will seat 40, with an additional 20 stools at the bar, which will offer creative cocktails, wines and 12 taps.

Cedar Craft Kitchen & Bar will be open for dinner every night. Expect live music several nights a week, as well.
