It was just early April 2013 when chef John Mims returned to his celebrated Narberth home to reintroduce his culinary craft to Main Liners. Although the name has changed slightly, now Carmine’s Creole Act II (BYOB), Mims continues to execute his well-received, authentic New Orleans dishes that have helped build his reputation.
If you have yet to return to his Woodbine Avenue hub, his recent launch of his chef’s tasting menu is a perfect excuse to visit, featuring four tantalizing courses for only $28.
Each week, Mims switches up his signature tasting menu to showcase what’s in season and farm-fresh. Recent menus have featured his She Crab bisque, jumbo lump crab cakes accented with chipotle aioli, braised short ribs with lobster mashed potatoes, and chocolate ganache cheesecake.
In addition to the nightly tasting, a full dinner menu is also available. Reservations are available by calling (610) 660–0160.
