Celebrate with barbecue, wine, lawn games and live music on Sept. 2.

For those not headed to the shore for a final summer vacation this Labor Day weekend, the Wine and Swine pig roast at Black Walnut Winery in Sadsburyville beckons. Beginning at noon and ending at 6 p.m. on Sept. 2, this event will honor the American worker with a full day of barbecue, wine and live music.

With limited patio seating, attendees are encouraged to bring a few folding chairs and a picnic blanket to share with family and friends as they sit back and relax to live music from Purple Mess. Lawn games including Bocce ball and horseshoes will be set up, as well.
