2 Sumptuously Sweet Cocktails That Dessert Lovers Need to Try

Wayne's Black Powder Tavern shares one cocktail recipe that's a riff on lemonade, and another that's creamy, dreamy, and peachy.

Love dessert cocktails? The azure shimmer in Nothing But Blue Skies comes courtesy of Curaçao and blueberry compote. Think of it as lemonade for grownups. A sweet sip you won’t find anywhere else, the Peachy Cream Liftoff is a novel combo of schnapps, caramel vodka and ginger ale. No matter which one you choose to make, you can’t go wrong with these scrumptious local cocktails!

Nothing But Blue Skies

1 1/2 oz. Faber Blueberry Vodka
1/2 oz. blueberry compote
1/2 oz. lemon juice
1 1/2 oz. lemonade
1/2 ounce Blue Curaçao
Club soda

Add ingredients to ice. Shake, pour into a Collins glass and top with club soda. Garnish with a skewer of four blueberries anchored by a lemon slice.

1 1/2 oz. Faber Peach Schnapps
1/2 oz. caramel vodka (your choice)
Ginger ale

Mix peach schnapps and caramel vodka with ice. Pour mixture into a tulip glass, then top with ginger ale. Add a whipped cream tower and orange sprinkles.
