Binni & Flynn's is Back, Reopening Late February

The beloved Tex-Mex eatery reopens in Berwyn to the delight of many a Main Liner.

Back in March 2012, our own esteemed Editor in Chief lined up within his monthly Editor’s Letter changes he’d like to see along the Main Line, finishing off his pleas with the line: “And would someone please bring back Binni & Flynn’s?”

After 12 years of rest, Meridith Coyle have answered our—and many Main Liners’—requests: She’s bringing back Binni & Flynn’s, the iconic cantina chain that dates back to the 1970s and was founded by her parents, Richard and Irene.

Meridith’s recreation will be situated in the former Berwyn home of Aneu Bistro & Wine Bar. Both the popular breakfast and lunch business of Aneu, plus the catering services, will move to Coyle’s market, Fresh Ideas.

Those who know and love Binni & Flynn’s may expect the same Tex-Mex menu, logo, and family-focused atmosphere. “I have teamed up with our original chef’s [Nacho] youngest brother—who I grew up with in the restaurant—to make the recipes created almost 40 years ago,” shared Coyle.

Meridith confirms that they’re all set to debut on her anticipated target date of Feb. 25. For more updates, follow Binni & Flynn’s on Facebook.
