“I have four kids and we love what Linvilla has to offer families in the area,” says Ship Bottom owner Rob Zarko. “We’re very excited to be a part of this new venture and what we can add to a favorite Delaware County destination.”
The original stone foundation of the octagonal barn—which burned down in 2002—will serve as the wall of the beer garden. The space will have an all-weather tent, string lights, picnic tables and family-friendly cornhole and jenga.
Ship Bottom began brewing in 2012 in Wallingford, and grew into its current 15-barrel production facility in Beach Haven, N.J. Beer garden pours will include eight from Ship Bottom, including Double Overhead IPA, Hop and Hazy, Blueberry Wheat, Barnegat Lager, the Shack IPA, Wet Hop Ale and the special limited can release of Imperial Pumpkin Ale.
Also expect plenty of scrumptious burgers, pizzas and fries from the Linvilla Grill, plus an apple cider donut tent, cotton candy, bakery and farm market elsewhere on the property.
