Battle of the Band of Brewers Highlights Six Local Breweries

Black Walnut Winery in Romansville is coupling with Phoenixville’s Bridge Street Chocolates for two five-course wine-and-chocolate tastings Feb. 9-10 and 16-17. And Chadds Ford’s Penns Woods Winery has partnered with Philly-based John & Kira’s for a February-long affair featuring a six-course sampling of reserve wines and local chocolates.

Beer With a Beat

At Feb. 10’s Battle of the Band of Brewers, six local brewery-formed groups will perform head-to-head at World Cafe Live, while their house drafts battle it out among attendees. Yards, Weyerbacher, Tröegs, Victory, Dock Street and Sly Fox are all scheduled to participate. Proceeds to benefit each select charity.
