Amis, Avalon and Gemelli on Main Each Host the Feast of the Seven Fishes

Can’t get enough of this traditional Italian-American meal? Good thing we’ve come across a few more restaurants offering it.

Last week, I told you about Trattoria San Nicola’s Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve, and I’ve since heard of a few more restaurants sharing in this Italian-American tradition:

Chef John Brandt-Lee of Avalon in West Chester will cook up a five-course meal on Dec. 22-24. (The whole table must participate, and kid-friendly options will be available.) The dinner will include a family-style antipasti platter, seafood pasta, a fish course, salad, plus fruit and cheese for dessert (or something from the regular dessert menu). $45. Call (610) 436-4100 or visit avalonrestaurant.net.

Think fried salt cod risotto balls, linguini and clams, sea scallops, and chef Clark Gilbert’s famous lobster-and-shrimp cannelloni. $45. Call (215) 487-1230 or visit gemellionmain.com.
