Not to be confused with the William Burroughs novel of the same name, Naked Lunch is a salad and juice bar found within MOM’s Organic Market in Bryn Mawr. Many of the menu items are easily substitutable, so you can customize your meal to fit your dietary needs. Make sure to try the organic raw juice, the pink lady or the green tea glory. If you want to personalize your drink order, try the “make your own juice” option and choose a base of carrot, apple or orange, and add blend-ins.

Raw Can Roll Café focuses on fresh and organic fare. Its varied menu includes made-to-order juices and smoothies, prepared items, salads and sandwiches. The colorful café space matches the shades of raw fruits and vegetables that make up these vegan plates. Specialty cooked dishes like the macrobiotic bowl and barbecue bowl are crowd favorites. The café also offers juice cleanses.

Both a café and a movement arts center, Sunset Moon Wellness Center aims to nourish the mind, body and soul. The lavender sunset sandwich is as idyllic sounding as it is delicious. For entrées, try the pesto quinoa risotto or Thai curry noodles.

Taste by Sand Castle bases its menu on proteins and plant-based “meats.” Upon opening in May 2017, the team at Taste worked with the Herbivorous Butcher, a renowned vegan butcher shop, to create a delicious and fulfilling menu. Located in Phoenixville, Taste offers a fun atmosphere. Be sure to try one of the many excellent European Vinifera.

Dr. Andrew Weil founded True Food Kitchen with the aim of serving food that makes you feel good. The menu is built on an “anti-inflammatory pyramid” with fresh, seasonal produce. The vegan “t.l.t.” offers a creative twist on the carnivorous b.l.t., replacing bacon with smoked tempeh and avocado. For breakfast, try the asparagus toast, made with roasted cipollini onion, green garbanzo, tahini and hemp seed.
