From murder mystery nights to a celebration of chocolate cake, Chaddsford Winery has a full calendar of exciting events this January.

Chaddsford Winery is starting 2016 with a bang—and a full calendar of events. As a Best of the Main Line winner (Best Wine Events), the winery and its adult-centric happenings will add some cheer, even after the holidays have passed.

Paint a Glass, Have a Glass

Jan. 14, 6:30–9 p.m.

Bring a group of friends or make new ones during a creative evening that includes two wine glasses to paint, per person, all painting materials and artistic instruction from Angela of Artworks and your choice of a glass of wine to enjoy from Chaddsford’s tasting menu. Tickets are $40 person. Feel free to bring snacks or pack your own picnic. Additional wine by the glass or bottle will be available for purchase. There will be another paint party on Feb. 26. Winter Wine-derland

Jan. 16–18, 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

Chaddsford Winery is celebrating the splendor of the season with its Winter Wine-derland. The first 100 guests to arrive on Saturday, Sunday and Monday will receive a free winter hat. The outdoor winter festival will feature ice-carving demonstrations, warm mulled wine cocktails, food trucks, live music, wine tastings, fire pits and more. Plus, take part in Chaddsford’s very first “Niagara Falls” ice luge and enjoy an extra-cold shot of the winery’s award-winning Niagara wine. Murder Mystery Nights

Jan. 21-22, 6:15 p.m.

Weave your way through the nooks and crannies of the winery and cellar as you unravel clues to crack the case! Heavy hors d’oeuvres from Brandywine Catering and Chaddsford wine will be served. Dress in your favorite “Roaring 20s” throwback threads to match the evenings’ theme. Advanced tickets ($55 per person, discounts for groups available) are required. Chocolate Cake & Wine Flights

Jan. 27–29, 11 a.m.–7 p.m.

Celebrate National Chocolate Cake Day with a delicious pairing program at the winery. Sample three varieties of chocolate cake paired alongside a flight of wines and finish with a chocolate cake cocktail. Advanced tickets are $20 per person. Purchase tickets for your desired date and arrive any time between 11 a.m.–6:30 p.m. for your tasting. Onsite tickets are $25 per person and available while supplies last. Hearty Soup & Chili Cook-Off

Jan. 30-31, 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

Warm up at the winery with some hearty soup and chili. Sample the recipes of participating food trucks My Four Suns, The Whirly Pig, The Flying Deutschman and The Plum Pit, who will compete in two categories: soups made with Chaddsford’s Hard Cider and chili. Vote for your favorite and then stick around to enjoy more food truck fare, along with wine tastings, warm mulled wine, fire pits and complimentary tours. There is no cost to attend.
