4 Restaurants to Celebrate Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is right around the corner and now is the perfect time to make reservations to celebrate the day. Some of our favorite Main Line restaurants will offer specialty menus on May 13, making for an unforgettable meal for mom.

Davio’s King of Prussia

In addition to its full menu, Davio’s will offer a selection of Mother’s Day specials from 11 a.m.-9 p.m., featuring traditional dishes with a Northern Italian twist. Brunch will be served from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., complete with semolina pancake with local honey butter and warm amaretto syrup, and tenderloin benedict of poached eggs, beef tenderloin, brunch potatoes, popover and bearnaise. Dinner will then be available from 2-9 p.m. Try saffron fiori served with gulf shrimp, wild ramps, and Flint Hill Farms ricotta salata and lemon and pink peppercorn crema. Or go for the wild striped bass accompanied by warm spring vegetable salad, crispy capers and lemon olive oil.

Vickers

With delectable items like lobster crisp, pan-seared duck breast, mushroom and spinach strudel, and champagne-poached lobster tail on the menu, you’ll definitely want to treat mom to Vickers’ elegant ambiance. From 1-7 p.m., the restaurant will have a special a la carte menu complete with appetizers, entrees and seasonal desserts. Plus, don’t forget to order a champagne cocktail or two. If the weather is nice, take advantage of the outdoor patio seating.

Radnor Hotel

When you visit the Radnor Hotel in St. Davids, not only can you take pleasure in the splendid views of its award-winning gardens, but you can also savor a Mother’s Day brunch buffet to the sound of classical piano. Enjoy freshly baked breakfast pastries, imported and domestic cheeses, an omelet station, roasted leg of lamb, homemade waffles and the cascading chocolate fountain with strawberries, creme puffs, pretzels and marshmallows. Brunch will be served from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Paramour

If your mom loves a mimosa-filled brunch or likes to be wined and dined, Paramour at the Wayne Hotel is the place to be this Mother’s Day. From 10 a.m.-2 p.m., brunch, featuring chorizo and cheddar frittata made with cage-free eggs, bananas foster French toast and all sorts of flatbreads, plus some special menu additions just for the occasion, will be served. Dinner will be held from 5-9 p.m. and includes crab-stuffed piquillo peppers, slow-roasted Scottish salmon, and braised beef short rib.
