Fresh off the heels of their Best of the Main Line & Western Suburbs win for best hot dog, Black Powder Tavern is launching four new and exclusive hot dog creations during their “dog days of summer” promotion.
From today through August 31, the inventive Wayne kitchen will be offering these fun alternatives in addition to their award-winning Philly piccalilli hot dog (piccalilli relish, sliced tomatoes, fried shishito peppers).
The 1/4-lb., 100 percent beef dogs are presented on a toasted Boston bun with a choice of chips, fries or coleslaw and pricing is as follows: 1 for $8; 2 for $14; 3 for $20; 4 for $26. Better yet, pints of Yuengling are just $2 with any dog days platter.
Curious what haute specialties are in store? Guests can choose from the following limited-edition offerings:
â— Texas Ranger Dog: bacon, shredded sharp cheddar, smoked chipotle sauce
â— Mex Nacho Dog: jalapenos, cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, tortilla chips, mustard relish
â— Tiki Dog: diced grilled pineapple, bacon, red onion, teriyaki sauce
â— Prime Dog: sautéed onions, crumbled blue cheese, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes
Enjoy your dogs in Black Powder Tavern’s charming dining room or take it outside to the sun-drenched patio to enjoy the last bit of summer.
