Ready to try something new this year? From European fusion to classic gastropub to farm-to-table breakfasts, these three new restaurants have plenty to offer Main Line foodies.
Now Open: The Choice
Time to spice up your date night with The Choice, the latest restaurant to join Bryn Mawr’s culinary lineup. With a flare for European fusion and a variety of vegetarian and seafood options—think fresh seafood, such as blackened cod and lobster, and grilled veggie dishes—plus a warm and cozy atmosphere, this family-owned restaurant will become a favorite in no time. Hailing from the Ukraine, chef Vladamir Hyvel worked his way from London to Manhattan’s culinary scene before he made his way here. The Choice is open daily from 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
845 W. Lancaster Ave., Bryn Mawr, (484) 383-3230.
Any Day Now: Town Tap by Conshohocken Brewing Company
Following the recent opening of the Rec Room in Phoenixville, Conshohocken Brewing Company is at it again, and this time all eyes are on Havertown, where Town Tap will open in the very near future. Anticipate a full kitchen and plenty of Conshy beers on tap. In the warmer months, look forward to enjoying your favorite brew by the open, garage door-style windows.
13 W. Benedict Ave., Havertown.
Coming Soon: Morrell Park
This farm-to-table BYOB will feature seasonal sandwiches, small plates, sides and snacks made with seasonal, local and sustainable ingredients from nearby farms. Morrell Park owner Michael Falcone derives inspiration from not just his food truck, HEART, and his previous Pottstown-based restaurant, Funky Lil’ Kitchen, but also from Morrell Park, the Northeast Philadelphia neighborhood where he grew up. Get hungry for the likes of pork rolls, egg and smoked cheddar sandwiches and Counter Culture coffee. Morrell Park will be open Monday through Saturday for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
420 Schuylkill Road, Suite 200, Phoenixville.
