Love Again Local
West Chester’s Love Again Local is hosting a series of global culinary instructional classes which let participants explore the tastes of plant-based nutrition. Instructor Alicia Uhl—owner of Plantie in Pottstown—says that “great cooking isn’t just about recipes—it’s about techniques.”
The themed cooking classes, which include Easy Weeknight Meals, Valentines Dinner and Breakfast Basics, let you work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment, led by a professional plant-based health coach. “With the growing trend in plant-based eating, more and more people are seeking to learn how to cook without animal products,” says Uhl.
The plant-based menus include hummus veggie wraps, lentil mushroom stew over mashed potatoes and matcha doughnuts with almond glaze to name a few. Attendees will leave class with the knowledge and tools they need to recreate plant-based recipes at home. Ticketed classes are held on Saturday evenings through March 16.
