Free Brain Injury Workshops

 Bancroft will offer the following free workshops on topics related to brain injuries. Staff neuropsychologist Mary G. Brownsberger, PsyD., will present both sessions from 3 to 5 pm at Bancroft’s Plainsboro, N.J., site.

The Role of Rehabilitation Neuropsychology in Interdisciplinary Team Function
Tuesday, March 23

This presentation aims to educate attendees on the role of the neuropsychologist as part of the interdisciplinary team, the values guiding the rehabilitation practice, and research conducted by a rehabilitation neuropsychologist.
 
Outcome Measurement in Community-based Rehabilitation
Wednesday, April 14
This presentation aims to educate attendees on outcome measurement in community-based rehabilitation and why outcomes are important. This workshop will offer a review of a regional brain injury rehabilitation outcomes project, the data that is collected, recent findings and the impact these findings have on services and programs. The speaker will also discuss participation in a national research project and its implications for participating organizations.
