Creating a Team of A-Players

April 14, 2010 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Local author Eric Herrenkohl presents the keynote speech “Creating a Team of A-Players”

“Most people don’t get into business to focus on people issues. They like to sell, build, analyze, and make money,” says Herrenkohl. “But we all quickly figure out that you have to get the ‘people piece’ right in order to have the business and the life that you want.”

Herrenkohl is president of Herrenkohl Consulting, a greater-Philadelphia based firm dedicated to helping executives create the businesses they want by creating the organizations they need. In his new book How to Hire A-Players, published by John Wiley & Sons, he explains how to leverage existing marketing, sales and networking efforts to locate top candidates. He also provides current examples of companies that consistently hire A-players without big recruiting departments.

Herrenkohl’s keynote speech, “Creating a Team of A-Players,” will focus on the vision, strategy and tactics every executive, small business owner, manager, and HR professional needs to surround themselves with the best talent.

“This is not a theoretical program. Every single point that I make in the talk and in the book I back up with real-life examples and strategies,” says Herrenkohl. “I guarantee that people leave my program with at least one strategy they can implement the next day in their business.”
