Event Summary
More than 700 guests experienced two days filled with fine wines and great food at the Main Line Today Food & Wine Affair, held September 19 and 20, 2013. The two-day event, held at the Desmond Hotel, celebrated the wonder of wine and innovative cuisine, with an array of offerings that satisfied a variety of tastes. We always look forward to an evening, or two, bursting with opportunities to indulge in food and wine. Next year, we hope that includes you!

Winemakers’ Dinner
Thursday’s Winemakers’ Dinner featured a seven-course meal with each course carefully paired with seven exquisite wines, prepared by the Desmond’s chef, Chris Calhoun. The 2013 event also featured popular regional band Back 2 Life.

Grand Tasting
Friday’s Grand Tasting spotlighted over 100 wines from around the world and specialty foods from some of the Main Line’s top restaurants. Guests enjoyed a night filled with endless pours and delectable food samples.

Charity
Main Line Today donated a portion of the proceeds to the Chester County Food Bank, a nonprofit organization that collects, grows, processes, stores and distributes food to those who serve the hungry of Chester County.
