Suburban Brewing Co. Heads to Honey Brook

Popular concept Suburban Restaurant and Beer Garden, will pay homage to Pennsylvania Dutch roots with its new endeavor.

This month, Honey Brook will welcome Suburban Brewing Co., a collaboration between chef Eric Yost of Exton’s Suburban Restaurant and Beer Garden, and brewmaster Corey Ross of Fancy Camper Home Brew Supply in Malvern. The new concept will serve freshly brewed beers, plus Pennsylvania spirits and wine, and locally made, Pennsylvania Dutch-inspired snacks such as beef jerky, potato chips and Bavarian pretzels.

The brewery was built from scratch, using salvaged materials from old barns, shipping pallets and recycled electrical spools for an eclectic, rustic-chic look. Armed with a small-batch, all-grain, one-barrel system, the brewery will offer eight to 12 beers on rotation. Yost and Ross are also set to reveal the Suburban Brewing Co.’s concession trailer this spring, which will serve Suburban Restaurant and Beer Garden’s signature dishes including mac ‘n cheese, homemade pastas and barbecue.

To create a fun atmosphere, there will also be a collection of vintage and new arcade games such as Pac-Man and pinball, plus shuffle alley bowling, a pool table and more.
