Kennett Brewfest Returns Sept. 28

The annual event draws over 100 breweries to the borough.

The annual Kennett Brewfest is back and will take over Kennett Square’s Broad Street on Sept. 28 from 1:30-5 p.m. A favorite among suds lovers, the rain or shine event will host over 100 breweries, pouring two-ounce samples of unique and seasonal beers.

Among this year’s participants are local favorites 2nd Story Brewing, Aston Abbey, Braeloch, Conshohocken Brewing, Crime & Punishment, Evil Genius, Free Will Brewing, Kennett Brewing, Levante Brewing, Southern Tier, Sterling Pig, Stolen Sun and Workhorse Brewing Company.

In addition to beer purveyors, there will be plenty of food vendors and trucks serving delicious fare, including 2 Fat Guys, Abuelitas Empanadas, Dia Doce, George & Sons Seafood, Koi On the Go, Natalie’s Fine Foods, Primo Hoagies and State Street Pizza. There will be live music throughout the day by Hake & Jarema and Carl Filipiak and the Jimi Jazz Band.

General admission tickets are $50. Those looking for more can opt for the exclusive connoisseur ticket for $85. Connoisseur tickets include special pourings from select brewers paired with a delectable menu from Talula’s Table and early access starting at 12 p.m.
