After Milito’s closed in Downingtown, many of us wondered what was to become of the historic paper mill that overlooks the East Branch of the Brandywine River. Enoteca Tredici will take up the spot. Restaurateur Greg Dodge purchased the property and intends to make major renovations, including live indoor trees and an expansive bar, plus design elements borrowed from the popular Bryn Mawr location. Expect the restaurant to open later this year with menu items like bacon-wrapped dates, lobster ravioli, squid ink tonarelli and truffle flatbread.

Rump Roasters

The Market at Liberty Place in Kennett Square will soon welcome Rump Roasters and its made-to-order gourmet sandwiches. Anticipate 10 sandwich offerings, including carved-to-order, slow-roasted pork, turkey, beef, chicken and local mushrooms. Enjoy proteins served on freshly baked bread or over salad, mac and cheese, tater tots or as a “meat and three” platter.
